These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FairGrade ("the Platform"), operated at fairgrade.app. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Overview

FairGrade is a clinical rotation assessment platform designed for use by medical education institutions. It enables designated coordinators to manage student assessments and allows authorised consultants to submit grades for assigned students.

2. Access and Accounts

Access to FairGrade is by invitation only. Accounts are created and managed by the platform operator. You may not register independently or share your access credentials with any other person.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify the platform operator immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Authorised Use

FairGrade is intended solely for use by authorised staff of the institution for which access has been granted. You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose — managing and submitting clinical rotation assessments — and not for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.

You must not:

• Attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the Platform you are not authorised to access
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content
• Use the Platform to store or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive

4. Data and Content

Data entered into FairGrade, including student names, student IDs, assessment scores, and notes, remains the property of the institution. The operator processes this data solely to provide the Platform's functionality.

You are responsible for ensuring that any data you enter is accurate and that you are authorised to submit it.

5. Availability

The operator will make reasonable efforts to maintain availability of the Platform. However, access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside the operator's control. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

6. Modifications

The operator reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Termination

The operator may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any operational reason.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
